Bape x KAWS

Japanese businesses such as Undercover and Bounty Hunter were among the first to work with KAWS on a collaborative project. He was able to get acquainted with Nigo, the creator of BAPE, as a result of these partnerships. Between 2004 and 2005, Nigo and KAWS collaborated on three collections; it was from these collections that the now-famous Bapestas were born. As a result of these various partnerships, KAWS gained significant popularity in Japan. At the same time, the rap culture, led by Pharrell, Kanye West, and Lil Wayne, began paying special attention to what BAPE and Brian were doing.

Supreme x KAWS

When it was the 10th anniversary of the Supreme store opening in 2008, KAWS partnered with the clothing label. Through his other brand, OriginalFake, the partnership earned a lot of attention from people. Among the designs that KAWS altered were a box logo design and an older design from 2004 by David Sims that included the supermodel Kate Moss. Peanuts x Uniqlo x KAWS

Another world-famous collaboration by KAWS is with industry biggies like Uniqlo and Peanuts. KAWS clothing fans around the globe loved this, and hoodies, tees, tote bags, plushes, and even home slippers were the fruit of this partnership. More than 40 items were offered in 2017, and they were sold in Uniqlo stores worldwide. The Sesame Street and Peanuts mascots were involved in this joint venture. Each partnership featured its line of merchandise that 'KAWSified' beloved icons like Elmo and Snoopy. Affordability and accessibility were the two considerable factors behind the success of this cooperation. 

Dior x KAWS

In 2018, when Kim Jones became the creative director of Dior Home, it was immediately apparent that the brand would go in a different path than it had been going in under Kris Van Assche. Before the first collection was released, Kim changed the brand's name from Dior Homme to Dior and requested several influential people, including KAWS, to work with him on his debut collection. During the presentation of the collection, there was a massive Companion figure that was constructed out of flowers on the runway. In addition to this statue, the collection contained many other items that KAWS had worked on, such as reimagining the bee that Dior had designed. 

Air Jorden x KAWS

A further garment collaboration between KAWS and Nike Air Jordan occurred in 2017. The Jordan 4 retro was the product that came out of the partnership. A cool gray and a black colorway were available for the sneaker, and both featured the symbol of double X eyes on the rear of the shoe. The top is constructed out of quality suede that is completely black and has KAWS stitching throughout. Other highlights include the KAWS logo, graphics, and a transparent outsole glows in the translucent dark.
